CASE STUDY Ref No: 96TB0130 Case 580K Backhoe used to drive Manta Ray® anchors. Case 580K Backhoe auxiliary hydraulic selector switch used to limit flow to LL-1. Mounted breaker tool modification for Manta Ray® Anchor installation. Manta Ray® installation using mounted breaker on backhoe with "Extenda Hoe" feature. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Drive anchor using appropriate Drive Steel, through hole in revetment block until Anchor Rod is flush with top of block. Install Spreader Cap, washer & nut. Lock Anchor using any of the following methods: a) Use EN-16 Eyenut and Dynamometer to pull upward with forklift, backhoe, bobcat, etc. and measure pull-out resistance. b) Use hydraulic or pneumatic drill to lock Anchor by turning nut.
